1. Information stored only on your device
The App keeps the following in its local storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to our service providers:
- your quit date and time and your weekly spend;
- the name you enter in Profile (optional);
- the cravings you log: when, how strong, what set them off, what helped, and any note you write;
- the slips you log and the plan you save with them;
- your notification preferences and settings.
You can erase this information at any time with Profile → Start over, or by deleting the App. Because we never receive it, we cannot back it up or restore it for you.
2. Information collected automatically
Usage analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase). We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They receive:
- the screens you view and how long sessions last;
- in-app events: onboarding started and finished, your answer to “What goes?” (smoking, vaping or both), the paywall viewed or closed, a purchase started, completed, cancelled or failed, purchases restored, a craving logged (with its strength from 1 to 5) and a slip logged. The details and notes of your cravings and slips are never sent;
- device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, an app instance identifier, and an approximate location (country or region) derived from your IP address;
- crash reports: the state of the App and the device when the App crashes.
On iOS, Google Analytics in the App is built without access to the advertising identifier (IDFA).
Install attribution (Airbridge). We use Airbridge (AB180 Inc.) to learn which ads and links bring people to the App and how many of them start a trial or subscribe. Airbridge receives:
